Radio 1 is the world’s only publicly funded Music station dedicated to popular music. The BBC’s remit is to bring to the public entertainment or information unavailable in the commercial domain.
Radio 1 could happily play non stop music, without pauses, without DJ’s rambling on, without stupid quizzes, phone-ins, poor prize giveaways, That should be the remit of the BBC’s Web Site – Along with play lists, so we know what as played and the obligatory ‘Listen again’…
Imagine the download… Hour after hour of interruption free music – you don’t even get that in Clubs!!
Now, don’t get me wrong, for every Rubbish Chris Moyle’s, there is bound to be a DJ that you actually like… But if they have anything to do with music (like Pete Tong) they could remain picking play lists and mixing… you just wouldn’t hear them.

Now, let’s think about a Rap Show without that Cock (Yo Yo Yo) Tim Westwood (You Twat!) would be such an incredible turnaround; they would almost immediately get a boost in numbers.
Yehhh I know, you hate most of them, but have your favourite Radio 1 DJ and for that reason you don’t want them to loose their job. But lets think past that a little - If you like them, so do thousands of others… they wouldn’t be out of work for long! There must be hundreds of small Radio Stations who would (mistakenly) give employment to Chris Moyle’s, despite him being an enormously annoying little spoilt fat mummy’s boy.

To The BBC – Please start shedding Contracts as they come up for renewal. Save us from a Salary Bill of more than a Million Pounds a year and…
